For this question we used Japan to explain how a natural disaster influence a man made disaster. The Disaster in Japan started with an earthquake near the coast on Honshu with a reading of 9.0, this was one of the worst earthquake after 90 years. The earthquake caused damage to a nuclear power plant nearby leading to 4 explosions at the plant and 3 meltdowns. Later on there was another earthquake with a lower reading of 6.2 on march the 14th.
